The CHR’s Valmont Layne will be giving a keynote at ‘The Klopse/Minstrel tradition as intangible heritage’, a seminar organised by the Salt River Heritage Society.

Layne’s keynote is titled The Klopse: A historical perspective, and draws from research carried out during his doctoral research. Other speakers include Lenny Gentle, Jacky Poking, Anwar Omar, and Kay Jaffer.
