Monument to anti-apartheid activists, Coline Williams and Robert Waterwich, Athlone, Cape Town. In the 1980s Athlone was a centre of the struggles against apartheid, commemorated through the Williams / Waterwich monument. But it was also a space of once fertile intellectual and cultural activity at the height of apartheid.
