Suren Pillay speaks on xenophobic violence

Professor Suren Pillay, Senior Researcher at the CHR, participated in a podcast discussion titled ‘Why are immigrants under attack in South Africa?’ hosted on The Inquiry on the BBC’s World Service. Featured alongside Kimberly Mutandiro, Dr Alex Hiropoulos, and Dewa Mavhinga, the episode explored issues related to the xenophobic attacks that struck Johannesburg in September of 2019.
