“The Crisis in Syria”: A Question of Futures’ by Na’eem Jeenah

The Dullah Omar Centre for Critical Thought in African Humanities, a satellite project of the Flagship on Critical Thought in African Humanities based in Athlone, Cape Town, hosted a lecture on ‘“The Crisis in Syria”: A Question of Futures’ by Na’eem Jeenah, on 28 September, 2015.

Na’eem Jeenah is the executive director of the Afro-Middle East Centre, a research institute based in Johannesburg. In this lecture Jeenah provides an analysis of the situation in Syria that places into perspective and context the different possible futures that the country currently faces.
