The Centre for Humanities Research and the Department of Philosophy at the University of the Western Cape cordially invites you to a book launch and roundtable on:

            Democracy, Consensus and Citizenship

As part of a series of events on the concepts of democracy and consensus in an ever changing world, this discussion will engage directly with Prof Bernard Matolino’s new book. This model of deliberative democracy concerns individual rationality, public reason and justification and requires for its implementation an active and responsible civil society.

            Time: 10h00 – 13h30
