Sarah Summers
New Archival Visions PhD Fellow
Sarah Summers is…figuring it out as she goes along. Her early degrees are in Media and Production and Communications and Media from the University of Cape Town. As a Chevening scholar, she completed an Msc in Narrative Futures: Data, Art and Technology from the Edinburgh Futures Institute in 2024. She is also a Lifelong Atlantic Fellow after being a member of the initial cohort of Atlantic Fellows for Racial Equity in 2017. As a NAV Fellow, Sarah is currently completing a PHD in Philosophy focusing on her thoughts and creative process as the artistic director of the upcoming immersive installation, Lucid Dreams of Sweet Water for All that will form part of the permanent installation, Amanzi iAfrica at the Iziko South African Museum.
